The omens: Kenyatta ascended to power in 1963 aged 70. Moi became president in 78 aged 54. Kefake rose to power in 02 aged 71 and Uhuru made it in 2013 aged 51. In 2017 Raila will be 72(yes, older than both Jomo and Kibaki when they came to power) and he fulfills the fifties or seventies rule. The other thing is that they alternate so if the omens are anything to go by,the next big man will be in his seventies!!

Mmmmm... so three things:
1. RAO in 2017 or
2. Someone else in his 70s in 2017/22/27/32 or
3. WSR will be in his 70s, in 20 years time.

NOTE: not that I believe in omens (astaghfirullah) Shame on you

So who is Raila? Is he a governor? Senator? MPig? kanjora? Or is he an ordinary citizen like me? RAO is a spent force and should retire like other "has been" politicians, and shut up. His opinions do not matter any more since he was rejected by majority of Kenyans.

Your attitude is wrong and I hope you don't have kids that you can influence.

Are you telling us that an ordinary citizen is subservient to the governor or Senator or mpig? That an ordinary citizen like you and me does not matter because they don't wear the cap of 'public servant'?

It is the kind of thinking that allows politicians and civil servants to trample all over our rights. But you know what, even the president composes himself and acts very respectful when he meets Agwambo in person. True leaders and influencers don't need a title.

Omen....Omen what does it mean??
Does it mean that one has exhausted all available channels? or does it mean that ni mwisho wa mawazo?

If this is the case then 2017, my proposal is we don't hold an election we just reward baba with the house on the hill for five years. With that Baba is likely to retire peacefully.

Similary hypothesis was fronted in 2012 that Ubaki won the presidency on 3rd attempt and so Rao was destined to win it in 2013...we all know he is not the current porl..

You're right @impunity. These are just omens. They could be wrong, they could be right.

Jana the omens favoured Man Utd...you know how it went!
