Is is that our ex servicemen from the SF or Recce don't have the business acumen to do what these guys are selling?
If you stay ready, no need to get ready.

its not just about providing logistics.. It is also about controlling the entire thing if and when need be.

And we are surprised?

Quote:
Allan Herd, the founder and managing director of Kijipwa Aviation, confirmed that he had sold the firm to new owners who are keen to tap into Eastern Africa’s upstream oil sector.

Whatever that means!

@Pedes, did you watch the Police vetting? Our officers have such business acumen that their investments are in millions from their meager salaries.

We shall be caught offguard.

This guys operate a private military... offering 'security and logistics'. They can cordon Turkana and we can do nothing.
They have so far kept US interests in Iraq intact. the bad thing is you cannot pinpoint directly at the US govt for actions being done by private companies registered or listed in HongKong but the bottom line is, they will be working for the interest of those incharge of the world economy (sadly living & using the US)

A quick reading of the article shows that they bought into logistics and not security. Additionally, you would be aware that Blackwater's fortunes declined with the exit of Bush and Cheney
