It doesn't matter whether or not certain kinds of law are made or not made in a society of lost God consciousness. The results will always be Godless.

I remember a time I fought. I really really fought. I said there was no way it could happen. After all, the Bible said that if I was righteous, it could never happen. And I fought, and fought.

Unfortunately for me, age, happened. I grew older. It was inevitable.

We are fighting the inevitable. Let's look for another fight.

I pray for some restraint on the part of our legislators and political leadership. Let's not jump into the African bandwagon of fighting gays and lesbians: our country has far bigger problems to tackle.

In any case, the state is meant to be neutral so as to serve everyone equally and fairly. For instance, there is a high rate of HIV/AIDS among the MSM group, so it would be unfair for GoK to come hard (naughty wordsLaughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly ) on these people who really need to be looked after in terms health education and medical services.

Let the homosexual community be- sex is a very personal issue and it needs to remain so.

'Choices have consequences' Season 3. By threatening sanctions, suspension of aid, a revision of relations etc the West created the perfect environment for this conversation to shift from personal choice to nationalism. And nothing fires up crowds/voters more than nationalism. Happened in Kenya's elections, happened with Nigeria's anti-gay law, Happened in Uganda. Few people cared too much about this issue in Kenya/Africa, but the drive to make gay rights daily headline news coupled with the West's inconsistent advocacy for gay rights worldwide is attracting a spirited pushback.

I think Africa (and especially Kenyans with their chronic tendencies of adopting 100% all things American) will eventually decriminalize homosexuality perhaps within the next 50-100 years. Yet, given how polarizing this subject is, this is one thing you cannot force upon a country's majority. It must be allowed to evolve.

For Africans, these are some of the tragedies of being a poor continent. You have to live with human rights lectures from all kinds of thugs including operators of murderous drones. No-one will talk too loudly about gay laws in the Middle East because...OIL and the Fear of Islam. I was particularly tickled today after seeing on Al Jazeera reporters who are obviously displeased with Museveni but ironically dare not speak about what the law says in their network's home country Qatar.

This is a very big issue. Our mps should act even faster in order to jail this monsters.
The law should also ban the media from constantly bombarding us with fagot stories . Let's keep our media free from this filth.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

does anyone find it ironic that the punishment for being gay is a jail term yet that is once of the places where these same acts are said to be practised?
