Part 1 has not gone very well and so far governors have dodged the bullets. Wambora and thode 9 fellows are feeling really clever for being bailed out by the courts.
Part 2 is sending governors to jail for their sins.
It turns out EACC has been investigating counties and soon it heads to the office of the DPP. "Some of these governors have openly stolen and they have no defence. On a good day their cases will be presented to court in the morning, heard in the afternoon and a conviction issued the same day. The evidence is overwhelming," said an investigating officer.

Some governors are allegedly procuring
goods and services from companies
associated with their friends and relatives.
One governor from Central region allegedly
withdrew Sh63 million in one day using
three vouchers and paid the money to one
company.
"There is no evidence of any procurement
documentation and there is no record of
where the money went. It simply vanished,"
said another investigator.

In one case, the EACC found that one
governor bought three houses in Nairobi
within eight months. One house in
Westlands cost Sh65 million last October
while the other two were bought in Karen for
Sh80 million and Sh100 million.
"How is a governor who was not super rich
before elections able to manage to acquire
this properties with a salary of Sh640,000
monthly. We have asked him to explain his
sources of income," the source asked.
