I have been seeing dentists at least once a year for the last few years. Of all the ones that I have met, none of them beats Dr Stella Kubasu. 4th floor, Nelson Awori building, upper hill. She is just good at what she does. Maybe it's the experience. She has done it for 23years.

been postponing my trip to the dentist for some advice and what I am sure will be some work on my jaws which are becoming arid at a rather frightening rate.

The last dentist I was refereed to hapo kiambu town stretched and pressed in my jaw soo much I am sure it was somewhat de-boned .

anyone who has enjoyed or moaned about the services at kikuyu pcea hospital - nimesikia wako poa, sambaza the info - I need to gather some courage for my next visit.

@ Kamundu, saidia tafadhali.
I had a root canal done on my molar about 20 years ago. It cracked a bit 1 year ago but I am too spooked to go back to the dentist. Tell me, does the Dentist need to drill my tooth again? ama it will be patchwork to cover the cracked bit. I am sooooo scared. If I request dentist to remove the old filling, does s/he have to drill again.

THANKS in advance.

@peppy, all teeth with root canal fillings in them are essentially very brittle and break very easily. Its amazing that yours has lasted that long. We recommend that you get a crown at least three months after the root canal procedure is done to strengthen the tooth. Thats the only sure thing that will gurantee your tooth a lifetime.

@kamundu ...don't be spooked just go back, you will not feel any pain as the nerves which cause the demonic pain with teeth are "Deactivated" during root canal.
@Peppy how much do the crowns cost?
