i have always supported Ozil...but today he has let me down BIG time. And am not particular on the penalty alone

That penalty was a result of his swift turn. The execution was callous! In Ozil however, we still have a match winner willing to make amends.

10 Vs 11. 1 nil down. Bayern 70% possession.

I don't know why you don't get it: Ozil is not a big game player full stop

Ozil is knackered, with reason. As any great player would be if you'd played so many games and had so little help from your strikers. Give him a break.

Very TALL order for the Gunners. But they lost the game in the first 15 minutes when they should have converted very clear chances, including the famous penalty. Now wacha turudi kwa EPL

Kroos for me was the man of the match. No wonder Manutd wanted him. Pure class. He controlled Bayern's game.

I said it before and i'll say it again, Ozil is not the problem infact hé was arguably the best player last weekend against L'pool and tonight before the red card. Shida yetu ni Wenger, Sanogo amefanya nini ya maana in that match.....Giroud might be dealing with personal issues but that doesn't mean we just pick anyone as his replacement, hata afadhali Bendtner. A player like Ozil needs to be paired na mtu anajua kile anafaa kufanya, that's why Ramsey was so successful infront of goal before he got injured....Ozil is a playmaker not a goal-poacher. Ox performed so well on the right flank but on the left tilo down, sina confidence na Monreal.....I also miss Gervinho a loton that left flank. I wonder why Wenger didnt push Ox on the left and Gnabry on the right, we really needed two fast wingers to keep Bayern's backline occupied. Anyway he couldnt have done anything after Gibbs injury and the red card. I'm still of the opinion that the current squad is not good enough to win the CL.

Thank God Arsenal lost. They were never going to win the Champions league anyway. This squad lacks the depth needed to compete in all competitions. FA cup and the EPL are more viable options.

Wenger has finally learnt that he can't rely on Giroud for goals. Unfortunately the option is an injury prone rookie who almost gave up playing football to become a postman.
Everyone knew Arsenal needed a CF and the manager went for a swedish pensioner with a broken back. Sackable offence elsewhere!

A game of two halves...the first half was great for neutrals. The red card was a game changer. The triple jeopardy rule needs to be reviewed.

Bayern were given a wake up call in the first 15, they'll be with Ribery in the return (how the hell did he get a buttock injury?), lightning cannot strike twice.

It would have been better for arsenal had it been arjen who got the buttock injury, at least sagna would have ng'eng'anad with ribery
