Its not just Swahili, Jews and Arabs. In our local languages, we also transit from one day to the other at sunrise. Eg in Kikuyu we say Thaa Imwe, Thaa Igiri, Thaa Ithatu etc I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me: Phil 4: 13

The bible is translated so it is not easy to know the time written in the original scripts. The notion of equal day and night applies in the tropics only. Some countries have less than 3 yrs of daylight during winter. Truth forever on the scaffold
