haha.... people have short memories indeed!! Lets walk down memory lane - there was the 'movement' called ODM that constituted LDP, KANU and some other opposition parties that won the referendum in 2005 (the last time Odinga held a candle on the central mafia). When 'Chungwa became chama' a fellow called imanyara registered it and akina Mutula were shocked at this. the Kamba arm registered Chungwa Moja na Nusu for everyone. at that point in time no one was a registered member of that outfit coz they had entered parliament on a NARC ticket with the exception of a few people on LDP remember the Kasipul Kabondo by-election? Issues went south after people were bulldozed to dissolve their parties and join ODM-K as individual members - uhuru refused that! ruto moved to ODM-K. Later when there were issues between the people who registered ODM-K (the Kamba people remember Daniel Maanzo?). the Wing that went to the election as ODM bought the name registered by Imanyara and became members of it. PNU on the other hand accepted 'individual' and 'corporate' membership and Kanu Joined PNU as a corporate member as opposed to joining PNU as individuals the same as Narc-Kenya
