The best way for counties to have teams in the Premier league is to form one from the ground up, hii maneneno ya adoption will be a hard sell.
If you stay ready, no need to get ready.

They were to move to Kinoru Stadium but I hear FKF declared the stadium unfit for league matches.

I can confirm that the story is true. The move however is on hold until the stadium is renovated and approved by FKF. They are looking for a fan base and Meru district has been recording the highest beer sales in Kenya for Years...

Heard the coach say so in the morning, good thing is the fans may throw miraa in the pitch instead of stones

That stadium has been deemed unworthy of KPL matches. Good move by KPL. It will force counties to upgrade their stadia. I have been to stadia such as the one in Nyahururu which are not even fit for cattle grazing, wash rooms are a mess and the perimeter fence has dozens of holes for fans to sneak in.
Shame on Thika. Their team has been in the league for a decade. Visiting fans like GM and AFC bring good business to local merchants. But the county has not deemed it fit to upgrade the stadium. Thika should consider playing at Bata stadium Limuru.

Eti this is what Kinoru stadium will look like after rehabilitation.
And all this is supposed to come at a budget of Ksh 120m.
But on a positive note, Thank goodness for devolution. At least now counties are thinking of upgrading facilities.
