Nyeri- 30.3%, Tana-River -26.0%, and Tharaka-Nithi- 25.5%
Kudos to the Governors there. They can do even better! High expenditure on development does not necessarily mean there is development. The high expenditure could also be an indicator of high corruption and embezzlement of development money It is definitely better than the 2 billion the ODM Nairobi governor Kidero and his fellow ODM Mombasa Governor spent on personal emoluments!

Haiya? Let us query and fix the obvious waste you staring at in your face and if there is any corruption let it be addressed where there is real evidence. Otherwise, you are just clutching at straws.

Kudos to the Governors there. They can do even better! Is expenditure on county development funds equal to development? Our friend in Mayakos can say he has spent development funds on the park, or the football stadium, but is this development?

Boss, My point was that you cannot use high development expenditure level as and indicator of development and you cannot claim that having high expenditure on recurrent items implies wastage.Having high development expenditure could be due to building governors mansion and offices If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Our friend in Mayakos can say he has spent development funds on the park, or the football stadium, but is this development? Yes it is. With time, those facilities will be generating millions of shilling for those guys. He only need to market them nicely as areas where corporates and such others can hold occassions. Through the money generated, other things can be funded. If those facilities are able to attract crowds to Machakos frequently, people doing small businesses will have market for their products. If he can attract occassions that will require sleep overs in the town, hotel businesses gets a boost. When hotels has business, farmers will have orders for their produce; think milk, potatoes, cabagges, etc. Economy works in deeper ways, not just straight forward as you want to look at them.

@ecstacy has been on Wazua for 6 years. Why does he say things like these. Just because I have spent development money does not mean I have developed. I understand it is becoming harder and harder to identify any positive achievements of Jubilee. Please, try elsewhere.
