The launch was also attended by deputy
governor Bernard Kiala, members of the
Machakos executive committee and the chief
executive officer of Machawood, Victor
Muniafu. The park will be officially opened
to the public from Friday to Sunday
(Valentine’s weekend).
The public will enjoy a free entertainment
extravaganza. “We chose the Valentine dates
because we want to uphold Machakos as a
city and county of friendship, harmony and
love,” Mutua said.
