The president can fire anyone he wants, including the CJ and the deputy president, all he needs is a good reason. What he can't do is wake up and fire constitutional office holders coz he does not like their faces anymore.

Having said that, Githu Muigai is not fit to lace Amos Wako's boots as far as being the AG and understandnig the law goes. Wako is without a doubt one of the most briliant legal minds Kenya has ever had.

You are really a joker!!!!

Amos Smiley Wako was the worst AG Kenya has ever had...

His decisions and advice were purely based on the politics of the day for all the time he was the AG. The only landmark decision he ever made in his tenure was terminating high profile cases using the Nolle Prosequi weapon...

Yes Wako brown nosed alot and came up with unpopular posisitons that tended to defend his masters and thats my point precisely, he did a briliant job of defending bad oppresive Mo1 and MK regimes. But that takes nothing away from his understanding of the law.

Please separate the man from his masters of the day and you will see his briliance. Why not profile him even before he became AG, look at his time in private practice, all the way to high school at Alliance.

AG Githu: If Bensouda wants Uhuru's account balances, she must first apply for an order to this ICC Chamber.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: Then the order might be granted or not.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: If it is granted, we might appeal to the higher Chamber.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: Then we might win or lose the appeal. If we lose the appeal, I will take the order, board an aeroplane and land in Nairobi.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: Then one day I will deliver it to the DPP.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: The DPP will first read it. Then one day he will take it to the High Court Registrar.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: If the Registrar thinks it has merit one day he will place it before a High Court Judge.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: The High Court Judge will decides if it needs further action.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: The judge will order the Registrar to notify all parties and set a hearing date

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: Then the judge will listen to all parties and one day he will decide whether the order should be honoured.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: If he rules in favour of the order, the CBK, or the banks involved, or Uhuru, or myself, or even any Kenyan can appeal to the Court of appeal.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: The court of appeal will order the Registrar to notify all parties and set a hearing date

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: Then one day the Court of Appeal might rule for or against.

ICC Judge: Then what happens next?

AG Githu: We go to the Supreme Court!

ICC Judge: MR AG, YOU ARE SPEAKING TOO FAST... CAN WE START AGAIN?

AG Githu: With pleasure, Madam!

@Masukuma, you need to stop posting when you are drunk. What do you mean the A.G cannot resign? Think before you drink and embarrass yourself.

Bensouda is simply asking for a very easy thing: She just wants the government of Kenya headed by Uhuru Kenyatta to request the bank owned by Uhuru Kenyatta to hand over to her bank records of Uhuru Kenyatta so that she can prove that Uhuru Kenyatta committed crimes against humanity. What is so difficult about that?
