Am sure they meant the Adobe Acrobat Pro. With the Adobe Reader all you can do is read PDF files but the Pro allows you to create them from other computer documents, scanned images etc. The Pro costs a bit of money.

What is full value of the tender?

Bid security is 2% of the total tender thus Adobe is 50K!!!!

Bid security is not the same as fees. 1k is to get tender docs.

You are right, so this could be even a couple of millions!!!

Its a tender, so long as you price lowest you win. I bet this revelation has really spoilt for some mafiosos...

Who tells you so long as you price lowest you are bound to win? There is technical evaluation and then financial evaluation and furthermore your prices have to be not more than +10% or - 10% of the official estimates.

What official estimate? These tenders are all rigged for rafikis, those evaluations are a joke.

There is nothing strange here...People are just interested and zeroing in on the the contents of the advert.

Why not buy the tender document (Bills of Quantities) and study it and see how many PCs and Laptops are to be installed with the software, then come back with authentic claims of irregularities.
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

Yes but they always have an engineers or official estimate and it is this figure that is communicated to the tenderer whose tender is to be rigged in.

As much as I think the poster of the thread is generally alarmist , UK must become ruthless to these characters scandalizing his govt tenders. at the end of the day, its us he shall answer to. History might judge him very harshly if he continues with this softness of his.

Why wait for history to judge him when we can judge him now? Of what use/value will it be for?
