I have some close very close friends from the Rift. I have known them since 1991 when MO1 was president and I can tell you that today, the only food in their bakuli is what they worked for. Undeniably, ODM under RAO committed major wrongs to Kenya in 2007-2008, read PEV.

At the time, ODM proponents were comfy with the happenings which they viewed as poetic justice meted against those that they (wrongly) perceived as their win robbers.

Of course those who had been on the receiving end turned the tables on the 'aggressors' and equally spilt blood of innocent members of public purely on the basis of ethnicity!

When Ocampo came to town he took alleged perpetrators from both sides in equal numbers.
This raised eyebrows including mine !!

1. Our grandfathers bought the land from white settlers through cooperative society in independence times.
2. This land were historically Maa grazing lands including Nakuru and Rongai areas.
3. Nakuru is in fact a Maasai word.
4. If there's any claim to the land, it should be by the Maa, the same they would claim Nairobi.
