Goodbye Dear Friends in Wazua from NSE, Kenya

After 10 years of investing in NSE, I want to reluctantly say bye bye to my numerous friends.

I have set a personal target in terms of what to invest and the growth, I have achieved that.

I have done my last investment which is like sowing the last seed in NSE.

I started as a speculator and ended up as a long termer.

At the last count my portfolio is as follows:-

KCB 8%
EQUITY 5%
HFCK 5%
Stanchart 3%
BBK 1%
NMG 14%
EABL 12%
PAnafric 10%
JUB 4%
Safaricom 12%
Kengen 2%
KPLC 1%
Bamburi 15%
ARM 8%

I want to leave you with a parting word based on my experience in your market :-

Profit Growth is the most important pointer to potential appreciation of a stock over other well known parameters.

I will use the next few years to build up my porfolio in my country, Ghana and Uganda,RSE.

I am satisfied with my experience and the growth of my portfolio in NSE over the years especially when I re-strategized to focus on the long term .

You can still contribute to Wazua and also let us know how the markets you are moving to are performing and how,we, like you can invest in other countries.

It has always been a pleasure reading your posts; very informative indeed. Thanks for sharing your experience especially with NSE, Ghana and lately USE. I am sure when you quit formal employment, you will look back with pride and satisfaction how your persistence has paid back handsomely.
