Quote:The energy sector may for the time being not get a female chief executive in any of the male-dominated state firms yet, after Ms Laurencia Njagi declined her appointment to head the industry regulator. Energy Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir told the Nation in an interview that Ms Njagi who had topped a competitive selection process has written a letter turning down the offer to become the director-general of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC). http://www.nation.co.ke/.../-/4sofyyz/-/index.html

@MC uko wapi, I said i was sure she wasn't going to take up the job, I was right after all. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.... Why did she apply if she wasn't going to accept the offer? or she wants more pay? They should pick the 2nd ranked instead of repeating the entire process. i.am.back!!!!
