The publicity Kabogo has given Alice is just immeasurable.
Lakini I know Kiambuans will still sell their votes to the helicopter men

did the guy move office to kiambu, ama bado amekatilia thika.
judging the guy by what comes out of his mouth, he is the worst

He wanted Thika to be HQ for Kiambu County. Watu wa Kiambu ya juu made a lot of noise! Ati they are the ones who gave him the most votes and so on and so forth. so he moved the HQ to Kiambu town. They are actually constructing new offices in Kiambu town right now.

Kiambu is a very complex county.

Kiambu had been agreed on by the people before the elections and gazetted. Kabogo rejected the municipal offices saying they were beneath his standards. But this is a minor issue, he can take the hqs to Sokomjinga so long as he works

Yes I voted kabogo and I am proud of that.
I am not in his payroll as some of you want to believe. I am am only a kiambuu resident who wants to give our gavana a chance to do his job without a lot of back ground bickering.
Please let's talk of roads that are mandated to the county government for repairs. Some of this roads you are mentioning here belong to the national government.
Mr simo I only said we have "one of the best" not the best.

I too suspect that you are one of Kabogo's online 'finger soldiers'

he has a huge army on fb esp on the USK page

but i agree. some of the roads mentioned are yet to be given to counties. in fact, the county govts have very little to do this year on roads

but the one Simon mentioned is clearly a county job!

and lighting, garbage collection...the towns are dirtier than they were!

Mpobiz. Let's put roads aside, since both tarmacked and untarmacked roads were inherited across all counties.

An underlying argument for a lot of people is:
1. He has a HUGE budget
2. Having inherited a lot of very good infrastructure (on a relative basis compared to other counties), he's got less work to do on some basic investments
3. Having a very large population, the tax base is extremely large.

So what is his budget, and what has he ACTUALLY achieved? NOT ANNOUNCEMENTS / RALLIES / INTENTIONS, but tangible achievements.

Remember, if we have two kids in a computer class, and one is from Shagz while the other one lives in a house with 2-3 laptops, some touchpads and several 3G phones, everyone would expect more from the 2nd kid.

You start off from a higher base, then MORE is expected of you, not less.

On that score, Alfie looks DOUBLY good. He's starting off with a semi-arid county with a much lower tax base and just impressing the hell out of everyone!

This are good points . Yes an average kiambuu resident is hard to please . It needs a leader who takes his time to do his circulations then acts. Let's wait and see what kabogo will do. Someone in this thread suggested that at least we should start judging this people from the year 2016.
If some governors won't have anything to show then we can make all the noise we can possibly make.
Somebody once said "kutangulia sio kufika" so yes some leaders are ahead now .let's wait for them on the finish line and see who finally wins or which position among the 47 will your governor be.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...
