Kimaiyo said they did not have a car.

JKIA roadblock is a 24 hour one, the consequences of abandoning it for ANY reason is........The officers there followed the book to the letter.

There is no police car at both roadblocks.
The cops get dropped in the morning by Black Maria before driving off. The station is quite a distance-near the passenger side.

“Had the Inspector General (David Kimaiyo) not said the blast was caused by a faulty bulb?” That was the response given to the court by four men who have been charged with carrying out a terrorist attack at the Java Coffee House at JKIA. The four have been charged with keeping two kilos of an explosive in a car at Shauri Moyo on January 16. Hassan Abdi Mohammed, Mohammed Osman Ali, Ilyas Yusuf Warsame and Garad Hassan Fer, denied the charges before acting chief magistrate Doreen Mulekyo at the Milimani law courts, claiming they were being used as scapegoats. They used Kimaiyo’s own statement he posted on Twitter following the attack.

Quote:
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Keriako Tobiko has directed that the police inquiry file on JKIA fire incident be closed. In a statement to newsrooms, the DPP said the decision to drop attempts to hold anyone criminally accountable has been reached after “thorough perusal and review of the record contained in the police Inquiry file.” Tobiko has concurred with police finding that there was no evidence of law-breaking against any person in the fire incident that occurred in August 7, 2013. The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) concluded that the fire was caused by an electrical fault. Following CID’s conclusion Tobiko is said to have constituted a team of three senior officers at his office thereby making the decision. The devastating fire damaged a section of the region’s major airport rendering it unusable.
