He will also not be running according to capital fm. Yaani no luo elected politician can defy raila...

It can't happen, it won't happen - the region is under firm grip.if you wish to defy, do it in another party or Region.

We thought Pamba would hang the boots and call it a day having dominated the Region for five decades (I envy him) and may be pass the baton to a younger and vibrant successor....

It is a monarchy over there where the baton passes from the king to the prince. Initially it was King Adonijah Jaramogi Ajuma Oginga Odinga who had the baton before passing it over to his son Prince Raila Amolo Odinga, aka Baba, Agwambo, Tinga, Wuod Nyalego, Owadg'Akinyi, Wuod Oganda, Chuny Piny, Mandela II...the People's President, Mijukuu ya kumi na tatu ya Nabongo Wanga! The baton can only pass to Odinga III.

NAIROBI, KENYA: Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero has quit from the race to be the Orange Democratic Movement ( ODM) party Vice Chairman. Announcing his withdrawal, the governor said, “I am quitting to give young party members an opportunity to lead and help rebuild our party.” He added, “But I am still loyal to the party and will continue supporting it morally, socially and financially.” Kidero becomes the fourth leader from Nyanza to withdraw their candidature for various national party positions in the coming ODM elections. Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno, Suba MP John Mbadi and Kisumu Central MP Ken Obura withdrew from the elections scheduled for February 28.

The youth and the southerners (South Nyanza) Luos are rebelling.

Its not a lie RAO has made his personal quest an entire communities fight for so many years.
If he genuinely was looking out for their welfare, he shouldn't have stopped at the privatised Molasses plant.

My statement above is not an endorsement to 'these peoples' choices as well. This side is just as worse off. The 'RAO' on that side is some amorphous group of 10 billionaires and 10 million beggars..
