An Urban Transport student will tell you that all successful mass transport systems are loss making and heavily supported (subsidized) by the council authorities.

Rank: Elder Joined: 4/22/2010 Posts: 11,522 Location: Nairobi		I hope this helps...the problem according to me (am no expert in this matters) is that too many cars getting into town...even with the expansion of roads like the Thika super highway,Langata road,Ngong road soon to come and outering road the problem of jams will still be there if we dont sort the issue of all cars getting into CBD,do we need a golf course in town?why not get rid of that railway golf course build multi level storey parking with excellent security and a tram network that gets peeps into town,if you want to get into CBD we have the timed parkings that are pricey... possunt quia posse videntur
