Ha! try going to the Airport today. I mean JKIA.

The bosses are there carrying out thorough inspection of each vehicle. You'd think they read this thread.

They should sustain the thorough inspection. Not do it as A PR/reflex

Showbiz!

On yesterday's recap, there was a cop who was quoted as saying when alshababu come its his security first then the publics' second.
If you stay ready, no need to get ready.

we assume the police are stupid,
we assume the terrorists are stupid,
we assume a journalist is a genius and can tell how both police and terrorists will and should work.

we then equate the security resources and response locally to those in the west,
we also assume the terrorists targeting the west have the same interests there as they do in Kenya.

The cops know what they are doing, that's why they didn’t respond - because they knew ni mchezo. smile

I guess its humour coz in anycase, the casualties are never equated to those in the west they are always more locally you know why. Seeing that clip by Dennis where people just sit next to a bag they do not know what it contains and continue talking is just Sad Sad and those in Kenyatta. Since we cannot all take the cameras and plan those fake appearances we can only give our views on the net and let those who have the cameras do what they can to alert the authorities

I hear it's taking 5 hours to get through the JKIA airport due to the security checks. Enough people have already missed their flights.

BBI will solve it

These times require us to be our brothers keeper and it's amazing how lax things have been exposed to be.

Really, what can we do to make the security forces and citizens more vigilant?

When asked to go to the Airport 5 hrs before check-in we complain.smile

I often tell people to leave for the airport the moment the plane departs from Origin on its outbound trip to Nbo.
