Tunawapa Man.U. compe!!! Again I'll ask and cry over spilt milk. Friday was working. The boys over at the union must have been undergoing menopause to fire him. Even when some of you were saying he is a "Skype" coach he did his business. Anyway we wait (and pray) for Wellington. #stillKenyasevens #tunaombasirkal. By the way since S.A got rid of Treu they have been on fire!!!!

There was some improvement in the team overall. Only issue I think Treu needs to work on is confidence in defence.

Why the hell was Oscar "Wheels to burn" Ouma starting off the bench? Why play Injera as scrum-half yet his impact is best felt on the wings? Proprietor, Ngamia Holdings Limited

Look Treu unlike Moyes is on a real long term project. He is getting our guys to play differently and to our strengths. This is obviously going to take some time but when it will eventually get there. Our natural way of playing involves speed, space, agility and faster movement of the ball. Friday had gotten us to start playing like England which is fine but really will not win us any cups because towards the end of his tenure we had already become easy to read and close down. Powell is enjoying Treu's years of working. SA is playing the same way they were playing for the past 4-5 years only that you have players who Treu picked from the schools maturing into fine players. There is hardly anyone Powell has added and the team is playing the same way. Remember our guys were already 'bodies' and conditioned to being battering rams, getting them out of that and turning them into speed merchants may take a few tournaments but when it does happen me thinks we will be devastating on the pitch. So lets give Treu time. This guy has won 2 series with 2 generation of players and rebuild several teams from scratch. Friday didn't win much with England.

I havent seen any evidence that Treu is getting Kenya to play to their strengths as claimed above. I have just seen plenty of basic errors. And I havent seen any evidence of a long term project.
I hope people also know that sponsors want results now. They typically dont have patience for long term projects. If KQ wanted to sponsor a long term project, they would have spent that Ksh 400m on establishing youth development schemes.

5th leg of the season kicks off tommorrow in New Zealand. Kenya fixtures are as follows in Kenyan time: Kenya vs Samoa Fri 3.42am Kenya vs Australia Fri 6.51am Kenya vs Tonga Fri 9.17am
Tough group, courtsey of being seeded in the third pot. Fingers closed, hope we replicate last year's performance in NZ. Or at least make it to semis for the first time this season.

Indeed if they keep making the same schoolboy errors, you can expect another kichapo even from Tonga. I have seen some really bad errors this year. Makes you wonder if these are the same people who played under Mike Friday last year. If I did not know better I would say "#sabotage"
