She's preparing for the First Lady's Half-Marathon scheduled for the 9th of March and the London Marathon 2014. She will be taking part in the two events to raise funds for the 'Beyond Zero Campaign' which seeks to bring prenatal & postnatal medical treatment to less privileged women & children with an aim of achieving a significant decline in maternal and child deaths in the country.

Very very impressed!!!! Go First lady. If you have ever trained for a long distance run and you are not an elite athlete you will have nothing but maximum respect for her. It is a physically painful and mentally grueling experience. On this last run she did 11km in 1 hour 44 minutes. Excellent!!!!! It is her 3rd long run. At this pace and with the excitement of race day and nice cool weather she should be able to do 3 hours or less for the half marathon on race day. Am really proud of her.
