Does it strike you that all EAC are currently at war?

• Kenya in Somalia
• Uganda in Somalia
• Tanzania in DRC
• Rwanda in Sudan Darfur
• Burundi in Somalia

There is also cold war / conflicts amongst the nations in greater EA, as follows:

• Tanzania vs Malawi over Lake Malawi
• Tanzania vs Rwanda, EAC over CoW
• Tanzania vs Zanzibar (it is not all rosy)
• Ethiopia vs Eritrea
• Ethiopia vs Egypt over Nile
• Rwanda n Uganda vs Congo over M23 n other tens of small rebel groups
• Kenya vs Uganda over Migingo
• Kenya vs Somalia over offshore acreage

What does the future hold for East Africa?

Be positive. Look beyond the wars. I project that the wars will soon be over and within the next 10 years we will see a stable Somalia, a stable DRC and a strong South Sudan. With prospects of 40,000MW dam in DRC, Oil in Kenya, Uganda and S. Sudan, gas in TZ, etc, This region will be one to watch

Its not war. Its stabilizing the region, which is good for growth and future prosperity. You can't stand by and watch your neighbour's house burn. The fire will spread to yours'.
Life is short. Live passionately.
