I just received a letter from Zuku seeking permission to cable the entire building (residential) with a fibre cable with triple play(voice, internet and tv) capability. They are planning to remove the old cable which was only for tv. With the new cable they say that they are planning to bring in more tv channels, even HD channels and also pay-per-view channels like those in Europe. They also plan to bring in VOIP and 10MBPS internet. The first area they are connecting is Riverside,Kikeleshwa and Lavington. Anyone with more news on when this new service will start?

Got the same too. Have talked to them, they are very cagy about the recurrent costs(for both internet and tv),they can't tell me what the 200 tv channels are, wouldn't give the rates for the phone services. I think they are trying to lock people in by removing existing cabling (ours has been done by icon on behalf of KDN)then fleece them.
