I don't get why anyone would want Wet assassinated. These must be regional politics and nothing to do with national if this is not a side show.

It's not a contradiction. I said I DO NOT GET WHY UNLESS IT'S REGIONAL POLITICS because I do not understand that region's politics. I also don't know about his personal life because it could be personal. May be the target was one of the other people in the car.... It's a mystery.
