The 'Mistreatment' at Kingdom Securities

I sold my shares at Kingdom Securities/Bob Mathews exactly two week ago today. I was to get my cheque after four working days. From them,numerous visits have only yielded stories,promises and excuses - I sold these shares coz I need the money badly,these guyz do not see this,and they have sat on the funds. This Kingdom was previously Bob Mathews,could not be in business because of messing up payments - did Kingdom buyout Bob Mathews to continue along the same line? When will we trust some brokers? Beleive me some are very good,very efficient.

You aint the first one but howcan we be able to sue such brokers who refuse with your cheque?

Is this not the company owned by the Kingdom Bank (Co-op Bank)? Am in the same building with them and am forwarding this to their customer care Manager now.

I think the best way is to name,shame and keep off completely errant brokers. Some of their bosses claim to be very well connected with the justice system - police,courts,etc,and beleive me,they are!!

My advice in these cases is always the same:

Don't complain verbally.... WRITE your complaint to CMA and NSE and copy to the broker. You will see how quickly they will act.

It is important when you are placing a sale order to inform the one taking the order TO indicate that you need a cheque done after the sale have bn done,otherwise they will assume u want to buy more shares and the money wil remain in the account waiting a purchase order.


invest slowly on a monthly basis dont wait till ati u get millions
