The govt seems to be stalling on getting the fuel guzzlers from top govt officials.Their reluctance to hand themover for the passats is something we the citizenry are waiting with baited breath.

One way to collect the vehicles is simply the Kagame way, where ministers n top officials were stripped of the vehicles by the military police.I imagine the zeal with which the electronic media would capture the moment where the officials are hounded out with their body guards and left by the roadside to seek alternative means of transport as they make arrangements to collect the passats.

It may b s'thing like this, the military police flag down a merc and the min told to step down,he protests n is told,'afande nimeambiwa na mkubwa gari latakikana DOD'.The min has no means of talkin to the police comm as this this is purely a military operation esp now that the prezo has left for Nigeria.Eventually all the vehicles will b parked @ DOD where access for them is denied and eventually sold.

Thereafter,a motion will b introduced in parliament to make Uhuru step down as minister for finance for all this.Remember Kimunya had to go for proposing that MPs b taxed?

Whats ur take?

Speaking of guzzlers, what happens to the limos used by parastatal bosses, military and police heads? Will the mercs be replaced too?

For the military, its fairly easy in the sense that when a duty is to discharged then nothing much can b done by even the superiors and more so when backed by the CGS.For the police bosses, when a military operation is underway they have to give way.Remember '82...............

The parastatal heads will hav no alternative but to surrender esp when the line ministers and PS have done so.

@ semasema

yenyewe it would look like a jack bauer's movie and the way mpigs esp. those in cabinets like chest thumbing...

figure out this...

a cabinet minister: 'You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into'

Jack Bauer: 'Why don’t you explain it to me? You’ve got five seconds.'

@ Kamaa ni kweli. Wanangoja nini? Now is the time to call Jack Bauer!

CTU (Car Takeover Unit): Jack,we have spotted the hostiles around K-Street. We are sending you the schematics. The Code word is GK Guzzlers.

JACK: Thank you,CTU. I am proceeding to retrieve the package. The hostiles will be neutralised. It matters little whether they survive the operation as long as we get hold of the package.

JACK (Later): The package has been retrieved and the hostiles neutralised. Am sending the package over to CTU. As we secured the package we noticed some hostiles were sending out some pungent smell also known as matusi saying they can even do well with a starlet and that there was something fishy in the procurement. We are sending over a sample to CTU lab for further analysis.

etc someone continue!

Kajwang' has said there's no way in hell he'll hand over his guzzler. Should we prepare for some real drama given his penchant for biting perceived enemies?

I luv the way the media has been the mwananchis ally on this one.I rarely applaud them but on this one, thumbs up.

The best thing is for them to villify the non-compliant ones to the public. At least when cornered they do the needful.
