Atwoli is part of the NSSF board that is collectively tasked with the institutions governance. If he sincerely disagrees with the boards decision and even has evidence of fraud, he should then resign and even give that evidence to the DPP. That is the way institutions are governed.

But his style of screaming like a madman in public and then returning to share a table and make joint decisions with people he is castigating is utter rubbish and should be discouraged.

So you support this project where land grabbers go scot free and are then rewarded with public funds.

The current owners are not the grabbers. The grabbers subdivided the land and sold to the current owners. The current owners were forced to again buy from NSSF.

Isnt that enough punishment?

So you buy a stolen car, then owner finds you with it and decides to sell it you, then he has to fit new tyres etc....at 5B.......doesn't make any sense.

If the owner quotes a price that is inclusive os new tryes then its upto him tofit new tyresd'oh! d'oh!
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

So how much did NSSF sell the land to the "innocent victims"?

If you read the article, he was away when the tender was awarded. Besides, what makes you think he has not given the information he has to the DPP. Stop embarassing yourself by missing the elephant in the room. People that expose such deals help the country and should be encouraged not vilified.

@Ole Lenku, I think you don't understand the way organisations work (including public). Let me help you by answering your shallow points above:

he was away when the tender was awarded

I am sure a tender for 5 billion cannot be awarded at one board sitting, the process takes very long, besides the public procurement Act does not allow the board to select and award tenders, that is done by the tender committee which cannot by law include board members.

what makes you think he has not given the information he has to the DPP

I am assuming he has not given the evidence to the DPP because he has not said so

Stop embarassing yourself by missing the elephant in the room

I hope my clarifictions have now cleared my embarassmentLaughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

People that expose such deals help the country and should be encouraged not vilified

Atwoli has expose nothing and thats my beef with him, he has gone about it the wrong way, he has not told us anything substantial aside from the fact that he was not there and that the cost was 5B

@Jaggernaut

I am not supporting this project, all I am saying is that Atwoli is going about it the wrong way, there is a way to give the public meaningful information so that we can assess whether there is corruption or no corruption.

My friend I understand more than you think. Get off your high horse and stop thinking you are the only knowledgeable wazuan. I am actually a member of a tender committee and I am well versed with the PPOA. Going to the media is how the following scandals were exposed Anglo LEASING, NHIF, Kazi kwa Vijana and DeLarue. After someone raises the flag, then an investigation is done.
I find it strange that instead of calling for an investigation, your instinct is to blame Atwoli.

So what has been the outcome of all those expose's done,
- how much tax payers money was recovered from any of those scandals
- who was jailed for any of the scandals.

Answer is nobody, doing things same old way results in the same old result.

You are suggesting an investigation, I am suggesting clarification of the issue. Afterwhich we can proceed to investigation if there is fraud.

Atwoli will probably get his cut and then he will go quiet, if he is serious then let him give us specifics.

In Kenya this is the best way, if you follow procedures and report such things nothing will happen. You go and report such things quietly, you probably report to an ally of the person being accused who will frustrate any investigation. Bringing such issues in the open creates more pressure for action to be taken.

I just hope this is not true. I always thought Uhuru will fight corruption. I still have that hope. If its true, we should see DPP swinging to action soon.

ION....

"“The DPP has approved the recommendation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to charge Hon. Richard Onyonka with the offences of conspiracy to defraud the public and abuse of office relating to allegations of fraudulent failure to pay VAT amounting to Sh21, 250, 628,” read a statement from the DPP."

This government proves to be as corrupt as the KANU one, furthermore it's being led by the same KANU demigods who were as corrupt as monoxide.

Railway tender corruption saga where over 400Billion went to akina Kimunya,Uhuru,Chirau and Co.
NSSF saga - 5 Billion going to Kambi Kazungu,LangaT(NSSF acting CEO) & co.
Judiciary Saga -Over 80million stolen by suspended Omollo and his accomplices including Fred Mweni.
Onyonka Stealing millions from the CDF kitty and failing to remit taxes.
