Are you red anymore?

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Man United fans are real fans. You expect them to defect like Arsenal fans did (to Man City and other teams)?

Things are really bad at Man United but we stay put! In good and bad times!!!

:) I will simply smile for now, my focus is on Moyes, not arsenal not city not chelsea, not any other team, we simply have teething problems from within which need to be solved...before we come back to haunt you :)

Can't imagine Phil Neville coaching Rooney!

Like seriously what will he tell Rooney...You know what this Moyes discussion we dissected it long time ago...what I suppose we all agree on, is we never expected the SHIT to be this real, we underestimated, it's real brothers it is real. I will give him this transfer window to prove me wrong after which I can go back to my worst fears.

Don't set yourself up for disappointment! Miracles do happen yes but we need one serious miracle to get a world class player to Man United this January. First of all, January is already a difficult transfer period - not many world class players are available. Secondly, Man United are struggling! They might not even qualify for Champions League at this rate. How many players would be willing to leave a team in a Champions League position for one that might not qualify and to play for a coach who has not won anything??

The likes of Mourinho and Pep can attract world class players even if their teams are not playing in Europe - Not Moyes!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Is Moyes to blame? Partly. Is Fergie to blame? Partly. Is Ed Woodward to blame? Definitely. Even before Moyes joined, there were questions surrounding the current United squad. It's been eons since world class midfielders and defenders were bought by the club. Last season's 11-points margin title victory shouldn't cloud that fact. United were on a decline. Moyes needs Ed Woodward to focus on purchases, not just sponsorship deals. Sometime back Moyes said United needed 5-6 world class players. He's been vindicated, having given chance after chance to mediocre players not worth wearing the red jersey. You could say Fergie did it, but filling his boots was always going to be difficult. Arsene has managed it with Arsenal? Arsenal isn't United, they aren't in the same global league of brands like United, Real or Barca.

Moyes needs to sell some of the players he has. United can still bring in good players that have that urge. He needs to stamp his authority. You could tell he wasn't impressed even after Chicharito equalized. He was unmoved. A manager can do his best but the other responsibility is on players on the pitch. Antonio Valencia is no dribbler, yet, instead of using his pace in the final third and launch a cross, he decides to dribble. When I see this, I tend to desire to see Nani on the pitch. It's that bad. Cleverley passes nyuma and sideways, and he's supposed to be the next scholes. In his dreams. The defense is creaky. Watu wauzwe. Moyes will reach top four, but I think he should consider getting out of the cup competitions to make that a reality.

When people say United can't attract top players, they should just look at Chelsea and City. When pesa ilimwagwa, players came and joined what were once mediocre teams (especially City). So, Woodward and the Glazers should do likewise, no need to say oh there's money, etc. Moyes is being left to hang by the board. The mediocre players were there before him and no need to compare Moyes to Fergie. Hata Wenger hasn't reached the Fergie realms.

@Jus B,
I agree with you to certain extents, another way I tend to look at it is that United are broke and cannot do much in the transfer market but that said Mr Moyes was given a few milli pounds to spend and he spent it on guess whom Afro man...so yes, the board could be letting him out to dry but he most definitely shoulders greater blame...I wont go into details of coaching staff, player coaches, style of play, tactics etc, these are all there for us to see...and boy the ulcers!

I highly doubt this, with the hunger teams above Man U are playing, i see no candidate ready to be replaced. I guess Moyes should target to qualify and win Europa next season

Moyes went after world class players in the summer. Woodward was busy signing corporate deals. That's the difference between Woodward and David Gill. Fellaini wasn't a priority. He was made to be when deals were busy collapsing. Moyes can do it. Money is there. United aren't broke.

Yes he can [I hope] and Man United can too. but there needs to be a couple of no nonsense meetings on the way forward!! This is serious. But if we miss top four, that will be a totally different ball game!!!

He he he. One wonders!!! Arsenal fans have leased the rooms till 2030 and they'll be needing them towards the end of the season anyway. They have made the mistake of believing they can win the league. Big mistake!!! After [not if] they don't win, they will be back in their rooms big time!!!
