I read that both the Nairobi County Governor and the County Women Representative will both be charged in court for causing disturbance to the public....

Lower Bottom Trauma (LBT) Syndrome versus the Slap Pain Trauma

Seriously with all the evidence available one fellow was supposed to be in that dock...

Kwani what did DPP Kiraiku consider? Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall

Looks like if it is proved that Kid Ero slapped shabashi he may face a jail term one or five years.Sad

If the court proved that Shabashi caused LBT syndrome to Kid Ero she will earn herself only a six month jail term.Sad Sad Sad

Stupid law!!!!Very biased indeed!

The court orders the two to reconcile. This must be a first one. ww.nation.co.ke/news/Kidero-Shebesh-charges-dpp-keriako-tobiko-court/-/1056/2133132/-/skm63n/-/index.html

Something is definitely wrong with Lenaolas action on this shebesh and kidero saga...

Quote:
The High Court on Friday blocked Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko from pursuing charges against the two.

Justice Isaac Lenaola also ordered that they pursue reconciliation and report back to him within 13 days.

On Wednesday, the DPP wrote to CID boss Ndegwa Muhoro directing that the two be charged following a public altercation on September 6, 2013.

To start with, all the avenues of negotiations were blocked by both parties and as such no reconciliation was ever going to be possible. That is why they each decided to go the court way...

Secondly, although shebesh was the victim originally, after the LBT claims by kidero, they became victims both of them and thus DPP had no choice but to recommended for their prosecution. DPP was legally right...

Now Lenaola in his wisdom (i don't know whether it is solomonic) is pitting them (shebesh and kidero) back together to where they came from...does he expect any change here this time round? I don't know either!

Not forgetting that there is a lot of politics playing out in the background in this saga, Jubilee versus CORD. I suspect that Lenaola decided also to play politics here and I suspect in CORDs favour...DPPs recommendations and actions kept off politics...

I believe I am not wearing goggles, Lenaola is!!!smile

They might agree to reconcile. Both might be too comfortable in their current seats that they will might be willing to avoid any 'disturbances'

Look at it this way..if the court decided to hold a hearing, kidero would be the ultimate looser, not shebesh, for obvious reasons...

If they have to reconcile, I bet shebesh would demand an amount equivalent to the remaining term's salary as the women rep. and other gratuities...I am quite sure kidero would accommodate this demand, but cannot afford to ruin his future political stardom which looks pretty bright...
