Its being reported that Athletico Madrid are also interested in Mata, i think Chelsea should negotiate a swap deal which would see Diego Costa moving to Stamford Bridge. Berbatov is good in the short term though he is notorious for not tracking back.His link up play is good and is more adept at putting away half chances which Giroud frequently spurns.
