Muthaura and Baba are the same age but no one says that Baba should retire. Why the double standards? Maybe muthaura should dye his hair black like Baba so that he can appear youthful and reformist, and not like a museum artifact.

But Ouru and WSR said baba is too old and analogue aende nyumbani

I 'I wanted to leave public service after the transition in 2003. I feel I have served my country long enough, my body and health cannot take any more. I have wanted to leave severally, but His Excellency (Kibaki) keeps asking me to hold on just a bit. But soon I will retire to go and spend time with my grandchildren and maybe write a book. Let younger people also run the show'.

So four years later, Muthaura has become younger and healthier?

Tamaa iliua fisi badala ya Muthaura. Hyenas should go to court and seek compensation for mistaken identity!""

this got me laughing like seriously is there such a board!
d'oh! d'oh!

Linah is an avid crusader against FGM. Why not support her foundation instead. Is there Fish board/
Fishing Authority? Some of these boards are jokes to say the least.
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

These are weighty issues.

May be am not getting, what are the weighty issues here...?

toa googles, u cant even see these.

I meant, it's a fallacy.
Muthaura is not the only mzee among the appointees.
I mean I would have been much happier if I was appointed,
but I think UK needed somebody he could trust to run a project close to his heart.

I hope by the time Uhuru realizes public perception, esp when its near unanimous, is such a powerful tool in politics it wont be too late.
