@Am,Murchr...I think and Masukuma dont jump the gun yet...Ahmednassir the master of such trial trickery used the word "if" not any other word...the trial hasnt collapsed yet...when the trial goes ahead dont be shocked. possunt quia posse videntur

UK''s case collapsed when they acquitted Muthaura. Bensouda was just grandstanding or working under instructions of her 'masters'. I see the president's team applying for a straight acquittal with this current development. This will be the test whether the 'owners of ICC' really wants him free or that was a tactical retreat. What does the Rome statute say about double jeopardy?
On political implications, I believe the president's men know the repercussion of not fully supporting WSR on his case so I expect the same vigour in the fight against the ICC. What better PR for Uhuru by creating a perception in RV that he is all over Africa trying to save their son? Furthermore, the change of procedural rules by the ASP were for both UK and WSR. AU's threats to withdraw en masse was also pegged on both UK and WSR being allowed to fulfill their constitutional obligations without the interference of ICC. So Bensouda just done 50% of the request and the fight to save WSR is still on.
ION, what if the 'dynamic duo' appointed Makwere instead of Amina for the Foreign Affairs docket...where will we be ICC-wise?

The West mutating to maintaining its influence.
ICC is a political court! Nothing to celebrate until the case is dropped completely.
How many of PORKS witnesses did Bensouda have?
How many are remaining?
How long does she intend to adjourn this case? After 5 yrs? 10yrs? Oil concession signatures?
What are the local political effects of keeping PORK on a very long leash while his deputy goes through the whole process?

whether or not we acknowledge this in public - WE ALL KNOW THE ICC IS A POLITICAL COURT!! everyone here seems to understand that. these trials are not "for the victims" they are to fix people. For all the hyenas ranting on this thread and elsewhere about oh witnesses,oh the west cannot be underestimated,oh intimidation,just know that no one shall be fixed the way you imagined;not even the DP.Just recently,Fatou B was saying that Kenya should be put in the list of states that have refused to cooperate with ICC,now what do these guys want? !hey had the DP sitting there for hours on end akisoma ceiling,kama hiyo sio cooperation,i don know what is. I am happy
