Guys,what is your take on marrying a single lady (never married)who has a kids or one kid?What would be your reservations?or wot would motivate you?Is it something you would consider?

Na hapa sio mambo ya democracy. Assuming you have taken your time to know her,listen to your heart and head and make a decision based on that. Otherwise the blah,blah blah about 'single women with kids' is not any different from tribal/ethnic stereotyping.

I know of a jamaa who moved to stay with a divorced lady with kids. The jamaa has now been kicked out by the kids with their mother. Be very carefull if you have to get involved with such. A lady with a child might however work.

@Trs,Exactly why go for ploughed land when you can plough and till your own and eat the harvest wholeheartedly without looking over your shoulder from a past owner.

I think it also depends on at what age in the kid's life you are coming in and whether the lady was ever married or the kids have a relationship with their father. if they do,and they are old enough to feel they need to protect their father's 'territory' however misplaced that would be,then you are in trouble. however,if the lady has not been married before and better still,the kid(s) do not have a relationship with their biological father,that could work.

However,kama mtoto ni wa mluhya.... eeheheehehehehe... dude,you are in B.I.G trouble! ... hawatupeko watoto hofio hofio. he will want to know every bit of that kid's growing up,mtoto ako na homa,he wants to take HIS kid to hosi,mtoto alianguka shule,he gets to know before you!,he is going on holiday,he wants all his kids to go with him.... mtoto hakuli weetabix asubuhi he wants to do the shopping!!! Kwanza,everyone in his family already knows he has a kid out there so hata his sisters and dad will be calling to check on THEIR child..... hahahahahahahaha so the kids father will be so much alive in your lives for sure... and FOREVER!!! its not temporary.... you will have to put up with him or release the kids which the mother might not be agreeable to.
Some deals are like glass. Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.

What do you mean ploughed? In current times,only a small percentage of us manage to marry virgin women,if we are patient enough to deflower them after marriage.

The majority of the women you consider unploughed could have been moled and moled over and over. They may have been lucky to avoid pregnancy,or even have aborted. Yet the single woman with a kid MAY have been a victim of her naivete e.g the first years at campus escaping from prison of a home or a failed first marriage e.t.c

With EC,lack of a child is the weakest point of evalustion as to how ploughed the lady is- if only her V....a could talk.

just indulge your comprehension and language skills,in this case English,be it American or British.

Another thing,why do we men (insist) on virgins when we are in most times responsible for the loss of virginity for at least one woman,who does not end up being wife to us?.

@TRS I did not mean to say that all childless women have aborted at one point.....thats not the case.

But why are single parents discriminated against?i mean...if she is ur true soul mate...babies grow and go their way..leaving the two of you to sukuma life...

I also agree the age of the kid matters and also the rship btwn the mother and the father...

My take is....a a man who,marries a woman with a kid is a demonstration of lots of maturity!!!!!!

Wot if its a case of a father just abandoning his child?
