Maybe in future UEFA should consider the best runners up,hehe...anyway, a draw is a draw, even Man City have had 2 bad group stage draws in the past 2 seasons so Napoli should look forward to a good season in Serie A, trouble is their arch rivals Juve are also out after having left themselves with too much to do!

Frankly I'm impressed by goon's tenacity this season, that win over BVB at the Westfallen was priceless, it's what got them through. So I won't them count them out but Man City have been imperious at the Etihad. Having rested Aguerro and Yaya, I don't see goons winning, maybe a hard earned draw at best.

Anyway, finishing top was good for us. Moyes seems to think we're good in Europe having gone through the group stages unbeaten but that is no enviable record with an underperforming Leverkusen (2nd team in Bundesliga) and Shaktar and Sociedad. Actually I thought the group would be much harder initially.

Now to December without RvP...

True to finish second aseno didn't have to win on the night.
