Rank: Member Joined: 7/3/2009 Posts: 14		Hi SKerians Am in a fix. I have been shortlisted to join the millitary as a Cadet. The interviews are set to begin on monday. I hear the recruitment process takes upto two weeks. That is where the catch is. How do i get permission for a two weeks absence from the office. This is my 6th month where i work and i dont even qualify for annual leave. I need a softer landing back in case a will not be suceessful. Saidieni tafadhali Be the change you want to see

I suggest you talk to them and let them advise you on how best to go. I once had an interview and thought it would make my superviser fume,only to learn that the supervisor is always welcome on such things. You might find out that if you explain your situation to the HR,they'll allow you the two weeks. I think at some point i,ll have to tell the boss and hear his opinion on it,and pray for the best. Be the change you want to see

Some advice though,the selection process aint a picnic,just a pointer to what u will encounter in KMA. Btw this is one of those very rare jobs in this country.Fm me its go go go. The only reason why some people are still alive is coz its illegal to shoot them!! TULIA.........UFUNZWE!
