poor oAR...going as far as giving an example of US and Clinton. Kenya sio US!

watu wampatie jina mzuri bwana... Prime Minister Emeritus or even Prime Minister. furahisha huyu jamaa you don't need to remind him daily that he is 'the former '

Now that ya Ubako was written "Third president of the Republic of Kenya", maybe yange ingeandikwa "Second Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya"smile

yes... it seems they want to continously remind him of who he is Now... cut the dude some slack!

right honorable - how is this title actually conferred and does it last for life?

unless he gets a better position he should be named
Right Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga the second Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya. I think we know all this to be true. Who would wish to be known as a 'former xyz'?

The writing on those plaques is instructive...
One reads: "Third president of Kenya"
Other reads "FORMER Prime minister of Kenya"

Si wangeandika "Second Prime minister"? Jomo having been the first.

i am not questioning whether or not baba should have the title.

just asking how the title is attained in kenya and whether it lasts for life.

it should last for life... it needs to be tweaked so that it is relevant and not confusing but hii mambo ya kucast 'former primeminitser' in stone is a bad show!!
