This is proving to be an interesting chess game. The high court neutralized the presidents and parliaments intent by court order and a degazzement. Check
1
President and his allies passed a law that gains control over our media fraternity. Check 2

But let me add the debate in parliament was farcicical and embarrassing. Justin muturi should seriously seriously style up, he is too emotional and ends up looking like a street hooligan who due to his limited ability to soberly discuss issues ends up using verbal intimidation to have his way.
how did shebesh end up there as a temporary speaker? Really? Not unless the jubilee mps wanted the motion to fail???? Ama Justin future needed to escape the heat?
Midiwo was right the coalition ilikuwa moto kuliko hii parliament and things run even with the heat, Marende was a very very wise man.

Thought @Chebesh was chairing the committee of the whole house but not as temporary speaker.

I am inclined to agree with you.

Shebesh was chair of the committee of the whole house
and may have proceeded to remain on the chair as Temporary Speaker when the House reverted to its normal sittings.

I also think the Younger Kajwang' was the Temporary Speaker when the house voted to adopt the President's recommendation.
He actually put the question and ruled that "the Ayes have it"

Cant fault him though!
