Who will carry the day? Time will tell...

@washiku the opposition has a big role to play in democracy. You know that it is the role of opposition leader to raise issues with the gova, when they find that the garnment is not doing as per the will of the people. Of course the garnment is free to direct policies and programmes and make decision, it retains power but subject to some approval of the House in some matters.

Now, I think you are wrong to just say "->Opposition wud do whatever it takes to ensure they fail...". The opposition play a very important role, to safeguard the interests of the people.

They criticize garnment in case the garment ignores or conceal facts. But do not mistake their criticism to mean ensuring failure.
It really counts in raising awareness among people on some issues of national importance.

I'm not saying I'm C'RDED or JUBILATED, no that is the argument here. Of course sometimes the opposition criticizes right policies of garnment just for the sake of it. Which can be harmful to democracy.

But that does not give you the right to write a blanket message that opposition is out to ensure failures Shame on you Shame on you

You are right to an extent, But you are also aware that some of the opposition we are faced with here are not for the good of Kenyans, right? What do you think of a guy opposing issuance of title did yet the local guy has been waiting for the title for ages?

The impact of the mega projects on the common mwananchi may not be immediate. It may take a few year to directly impact the base of the pyramid.

What will however be a big win for the dynamic duo will be If the million acre irrigation scheme will bring the price of UNGA back to 40bob. That will surely contribute to a second term.

When are we going commercial with the Turkana Oil?

Uhuruto continues to launch mega projects n others r lined up early next year eg railway, airport, Uhuru highway expansion, laptops, irrigation projects, energy projects etc. Interestingly, most of them r expected to end at or around 2017.

Now, if they all go on according to plan, wont that be an automatic 2nd ticket for Uhuruto? They wud gladly do "before" n "after" adverts all over the media showing why they r a great team...

As long as they are not developing their backyards only, the opposition should make even more noise if this is what angers the government more to develop the country. Once this is done we will have the same government and the same opposition in 2017.... and this MAY make me change my vote

Under the devolved governments, some counties have little or no opposition. Who will the residents blame for lack of development?
