ex-BONUS,ex-SPLIT

Salaale, here am sure some guys have lost xmas savings.
@cnn - do you expect a further drop or some recovery from tommorow?

For every share you had by friday 15th, YOU will have 7.5 shares on Dec 10th.

Wait a minute...I thought its 1 for every 5 held as of 15th so going by the price on friday - 230/- the current price would have been 46/- then the bonus comes in later in dec? Am I wrong?

True imho, its was a 1:5 split. It means more liquidity, affordable to more investors and they tend to think they can buy it cheaper. Fundamentally I think its a good dip buy

I think this counter will behave like ARM, waiting to see how the going is tomorrow am more interested in the bonus

Yesterday some counters bottomed. If you look at the volumes trading and the time of the year, you can only stay put for new years optimism.

This year was ideal for any fund manager who used an event-driven strategy to invest in nse. Access Kenya, Rea Vipingo looming, Carbacid split, Athi River Mining split all made money. I might employ that strategy next year...a purely event-driven strategy. The only event I hope not to cash in on is that which results in suspension of trading kama Access na Rea Vipingo.
