But I've always wondered, sometimes aloud, China brings its prisoners to do construction work here; why can't we use our prisoners to put up houses for ALL our officers? After free food and housing and the recently introduced beauty contests, what exactly do prisoners do? Nani alumni hapa? Or worst case scenario, the technical schools from NYS, polytechnics, Universities et al. Infact the construction can be used as 'attachment' to improve a CV and give experience.

Please do tell us where can one get any decent housing for that? Or you are OK with slum dwelling for the Presidential guard?
