The documentary was all mixed up....from the hype you'd think that the whole feature would be about the Recce squad but no....anyway, salary hike is not the answer, better working and living conditions is. As much as the govt has failed them, the police heads over the years have been the weakest link.

Those structures they live in and work out of look like they were built in the colonial era. It also looks like the leadership in the force only turns up at work to laze about and pick up a check at the end of the month. How else would one explain at the very least the poor training and working facilities or lack of proper exhibit and armory rooms? In the video when Ole Lenku says there will be an improvement in 100 days and then lists things, does he know how bad things are or that 100 days is just 3 months ... Or is he saying that because it sounds nice?
