Kweli Kenya is powerful.

So we can call their bluff? My thinking, hii Turkana Oil imetusaidia. Interests. Interests. Interests.

Now that the 'Land of the Free' have spoken, will the NGO's now call a press conference to also welcome the changes?

d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

Maybe after a week of mourning.

I await a Statement from RAO and Senetor Muthama

But above all I thank God for this development. It will ease some tension that was building up.We can now Celebrate kenya@50.

Glad too that the noise will subside. Muthama will be on #JKL in a short while. We will get to know the CORD's position....ama who is CORD's spokesman?

think about it... it should be good news for everyone who views occasionally puts on Kenya goggles!! The cases go on for the sake of Justice and day today running of Kenya goes on... ama? the only people who are unhappy would be those that just for the sake of it want UK seated the whole day in court looking at the ceiling!! its not beneficial to anyone other than people who just hate Uhuru and are using this process as a channel to settle scores... ama?

President Uhuru Kenyatta has received an early Christmas gift after the International Criminal Court Prosecutor admitted that she has no evidence to sustain a trial against him.

Bensouda who was accusing Kenyatta of crimes against humanity following the 2007/08 bloodshed has through a statement said that she has no sufficient evidence that can try the Kenyan Head of State at The Hague.

“Having carefully considered my evidence and the impact of the two withdrawals, I have come to the conclusion that currently the case against Mr. Kenyatta does not satisfy the high evidentiary standards required at trial. I therefore need time to complete efforts to obtain additional evidence, and to consider whether such evidence will enable my Office to fully meet the evidentiary threshold required at trial,” she said.

It has since become obvious these cases were political and locking out some candidates from the 2013 March election. Since then, the cases have had to 'continue'. They are coming to a natural end.

More recently, on 4 December 2013, a key second witness in the case confessed to giving false evidence regarding a critical event in the Prosecution’s case. This witness has now been withdrawn from the Prosecution witness list. Having carefully considered my evidence and the impact of the two withdrawals, I have come to the conclusion that currently the case against Mr. Kenyatta does not satisfy the high evidentiary standards required at trial.

ICC website

One thing i dont understand, was the case meant to withstand trial with these two witnesses? Where was the prosecutor during investigations such that they didn't notice the false evidence by one of the witnesses.
