we should all be equally poor!!!

Equality should be that of markets and information. If that can be achieved, then there'll be no problem to rethink. Life could so flexible! One could decide how much money he/she needs and tailor a lifestyle for it and Change to another lifestyle at will.

This is what happens generally but somehow most of us can't pull, mainly because of ignorance. That's why the IT revolution will be the grand equator.

What are the odds that most of the guys ranting on this hash tag voted for nanio yaani yule jamaa mwingine?

Most of them are NGO tweepssmile

Without googles however the situation is quite dire and needs a rethink

@Siringi,
You really want it to take a political angle. Just introduce the name

@um Sayala that was a ploy to invite the othe mboyz to contribute kwa mjadala

But you agree Pamba was very passionate about income inequalities in kenya and protection of devolution + sending Pesa to Mashinani from Nyairovi

These 22% stats are misleading. And how do they define poverty? In my mind inability to afford 3 meals a day, access water to take a bath daily and clean clothing is what I call poverty. That being the case that 22% seems like half of the people who would be categorized as poor in nairobi.

there is nothing like equality in this world moreso in a capitalist society. equality is a mirage a hope of things that can never be, a desire that would relieve people from waking up at 4.00am (ahem! watu wa Rongai)to go to the plantantion. Fact: the earth's wealth is in the hands of 1% the rest are wage slaves. Chris Kirubi was addressing a seminar and he said "You are writing with a pen I make (Bic) drinking a drink I make (Dasani, Coke)and we are seated in a building that I own." One dude stood up to ask a question and he was asked to state his name and where he works. he stated his name and told DJ CK "I work for you sir"
