Onyonka aptly put it, we lowered integrity standards envisaged in Article 6 of Katiba when we allowed suspects to vie for leadership on March 4 So long as you have not been convicted by a court of law, you can run any state/public office, the writing is in the wall in the image!!! Gado illustrated it very well, we'll be a suspect country run by suspect leaders "Never regret, if its good, its wonderful. If its bad, its experience."

Many things have benefits, but if the harm is more, I would say it's worth discouraging it. Our problem is that they are focused on the wrong group. They are doing absolutely nothing about illicit and underage drinking! Which really should be their mandate. .....thank you, have one @callaspade, @Buster elite groups like yourself cannot do anything about the bottle, what do you expect those of lower class than you? You are supposed to be the role models. I'm very sure if you didn't have that job and income, you'd be drinking the illicit brew. You can take this to the bank. Let me ask you, who has ever drank alcohol and people called a meeting to give him a certificate? Answer this, you're the elite group. All I find are people who so learned, they have drank alcohol until they loose "network". Bad, bad, you find them talking to themselves along the road. Please preach change. Mututho is trying.

Among you are some who promote this vise day in day out. There whould be at least a day when you command the proper and forbid the improper. There is an hidith narrated by Abu Said, which says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) as saying: " He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has not strength enough to do that, then he should do it with his tongue; and if he has not strength enough to do even that, then he should (at least abhor it) from his heart; and that is the least of faith."

Mututho is trying. @Alphadoti, A few years ago I had no income for about 3 years. I did not touch alchohol at all despite having friends who were very ready to buy me any time any day. Of those 3 Years I spent one of them in shagz. Now right opposite our boma we have a relative who brews that hot stuff. I was not even tempted. I resumed the bottle when fortune found me again. I control the drink it doesn't control me. For your info that place in shagz has never been raided despite everyone being in the know but our local despite them being 400 metres apart is always being harrased by APs. Go figure.
