HFCK has the Makao building solution as listed above. I have never used them and can't speak to the work product but it's an option to check if you still need the services.

Do you have all the necessary requirements and need just the contractor to bring up the building or you need to have the house designed and paper work done from scratch?

If you have a Qs and an Architect in your design team, they should be able to advice you on how to procure a contractor.
You can either have an open tender, as in put an advert in the paper, etc for contractors to collect blank boqs then quote, or you can pre select a few contractors who then compete.

You need to be clear on the quality you eventually need i.e low, middle or high cost hence select contractors with similar ability in terms of specialised labour, equipment, knowledge etc.

hehe..its a blank Bill of Quantities BoQ. This is a document that lists all materials to be used and their quantities then the contractor fills his cost for each task eg roof, wall etc etc.

I have worked with Housing Finance on their Makao product. It works perfectly well.

@Sober I have architectural drawings with estimates and local authority approvals. Looking to break ground as soon as a reliable contractor is identified

@A4A I have a team of arch, QS and Strx Eng. But I believe in separating tasks. The architect offered to do the job though and I felt there would be no system of checks and balances. I think the methods you are proposing are too elaborate for 2 residential houses: i dont have too much experience and would need a team to guide and implement the steps.... at an extra cost?

Are you looking for a registered contractor or just someone to be like your eyes and ears on the ground?

A friend of mine, who also happens to be QS, runs a small company that manages construction and installation works. I think they also work around Syokimau. Maybe you can email them virtualquantitysurveyor@gmail.com .
