Is it fair that some will get arrested immediately yet one who has been sodomizing 'young adults' for years is still on the loose?

Is it fair that someone who is arrested for stealing maize to feed on is given a longer sentence than one who murdered someone

The law is an ass,and you all know that. In the court proceedings the presentation of evidence matters more than the magnitude of the crime.

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.

is it fair for someone to be deemed guilty simply because a group of journalists say so?

In all criminal cases, its not what one wants, hears, reads, sees or how much evidence one has,but rather its what one is capable of proving that is important.

What you posted is itself not fair at all.
What evidence have you that anybody sodomised anybody else.
Is it not unfair of you to post damaging details based on hearsy in the internet.
Be fair to start with.

By now you should all know that in Kenya the law does not apply equally.

I like your thinking. If what the people expect the catholic church to act based on the info with the media they are wrong. If that was to happen each time,we couldn't be having a cabinet.

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.

What fairness are you talking about? You don't know the background I have of those people and my information is not in itself based on hearsay alone. Mark you am a scientist by proffesion and so I know how to do my research and do it well.
Okay then would you say that am not also fair to say that a criminal charged with man-slaughter was given 8 months imprisonment while some people still rot in jail for stuff like stealing maize? How fair is this???Or how fair do you expect me to be by not speaking out?

Don't forget that the guy who was recently found guilty of man slaughter and given 8 months had served about 3 years during trial

If you have evidence of criminal activity, give it to the authorities and follow-up to find out how the matter is handled [it is your duty as a responsible citizen]

Cases in High Courts are dispensed with efficiently. Cases in lower courts take for ever. The reason is that while judges work hard [report to Court before 8am and leaving after 7pm] magistrates are lazy [reporting to court at 11am and leaving at 3pm].

The people languishing in remand for theft of maize are all having cases before magistrates...you see, while murder cases go straight to the High Court, theft and other misdemeanours start at the lower courts.

@Biziblaza,i think you should go slow on B.timer, the law is very simple provide enough evidence to sustain a conviction and you will have your man locked up. Failure to do that, then let the on going process take its course.

And why are you so emotional with this particular case anyway?

@BIziblaza

I don't know what kind of evidence you have but i think K*N did a very shod job concerning the case you are reffering to.

1. The pictures they were showing had been manipulated using photoshop here are the reasons.

the dude they were showing was very young compared to the accused person

the kablack spot at the beard of the accused is the microphone which they didn't completely be erased

The accused is being shown as having tatoos on both arms. which belong to the dude which photo was used.

The dude has a very masculine body which is not matching with the upper body of the accused

I don't want to be the devils advocate but our media is full of shody journalists.

N/b I have those photos and for sure they look manipulated.
