Nigeria winning through crooked means. Fake pena as they come and Victor Moses of Chelsea converts easily

Shall be thrashed thoroughly at the finals.

Cote de Voire 1 - Senegal 1.......CdV books Africa's second spot to Brazil. The Senegalese were done by a late Kalou strike.Ever so close.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Cameroon routing Tunisia 3-1 with 15min to play. It will take something very special for a Tunisian comeback. Cameroon looking strong.

West Africa to represent Africa in Brazil!!

Yerp, good composure. Now 4-1 with 5 min to go. What a way for the Tunisians to get knocked out.

People always have high expectations of Cameroun only for them to flop at every world cup since 1990. Having looked at Cameroon, I think the reason they fail is that there style of play is easy for European teams to solve. For an African team to succeed, they have to be unorthodox and unpredictable. Think Senegal in 2002, with their breathtaking speed that would take the ball from one end of the field to the other end in seconds. Teams were not ready for that kind of quickness. An African team cannot beat a European team using a European style of play. Yet that is what African teams have been doing of late. Cameroon will flop yet again if this is how they play. You cannot beat Europeans at their own game. You have to surprise them with the unexpected.

Ghana will definitely join these three teams. I also suspect that Alegeria will be the Arab African rep at the world cup!!!

I am so glad you posted this.

I am always surprised at people who deny that African football is not corrupt.

Referees are bribed all the time and CAF is so corrupt that they make Kenyan politicians look like choir boys. It would not shock me if there is some corruption going on with Naija's qualification. Remember how blatant that referee was at Kasarani in 2009 helping Naija. Even fans became livid and started throwing objects onto the field.

The referee helped Naija in Addis Ababa. And now it seems another ref helped them in Calabar. See the sentiments of the Ethiopia coach below

Yaani in 2004, Kenya destroyed Burkina Faso. See below

In 1997, Kenya beat Burkina Faso both home and away. Remember when Mike Okoth scored four goals ?

And now the Burkinabe are on the verge of qualifying. Na Kenya tunazubaa tu

I have a feeling Burkinabe will qualify, Algeria are not as strong as they used to be plus the West Africans will probably defend from start to finish, they have the capacity to do just that....in the first leg they were a bit open at the back but they were the home team and had to go for goals. They'll also have Alaine Traore and their all-time leading scorer Moumouni Dagano available for the match, they might also have an impact on the match though their best player is still Pitroipa.

France Vs Ukraine will be a very interesting match, the French can still qualify. Koscielny will miss the match but will probably be replaced by L'pools Sakho. Ukraine will also be without two of their top defenders who are suspended for the match. The French can still qualify but Ribery, Giroud, Benzema and Nasri have to be on top of their game tonight.

The Sweden Vs Portugal match is also mouth-watering, it will be a huge blow for CR7 if Portugal were to miss the WC. He will be 29 yrs next year so this might be he's only realistic chance of making an impact at that level. They go into tonight's match with the smallest of advantages.....IMO i think Sweden will qualify!
