nanfor,

Just wanted to pint out that the ugandans don't have efficient to watch over kenyan fishermen if Migingo is out of bounds,it would be too expensive for them given the distance from UG and they can't do it everyday!!!!

The chief value of money lies in the fact that one lives in a world in which it is overestimated.

@ wazamali

I have got nothing to say.
All i know is,if you want a free fis,go and catch it urself.
Where to fis is the problem here.

hi all,

The aerial view of the areas surrounding Mijingo is shown below:

Mijingo is the one on the right. which island is the one located on the left of this picture and whom does it belong to,Kenya or Uganda?

You mean it looks like a fis?

I mean fundamental analysis, you get me?

@mkagollah

Interesting thread this.

I had not had a chance to listen to M7's comments first hand but if your quote is verbatim, then we Skerians may be making noise without comprehensive information surrounding this issue. Infact, having read that quote,I tend to agree with @Nanfors post at 11:07 saying M7 may be playing us for fools while smiling all the way. Sovereignity or not, there is definitely some history surrounding this issue which both M7 and Kibs are aware of and which is forcing them to play their cards the way they are.

With the exception of the quasi insult to the Luo (read Kenyans),M7 must have had some authority on which he was basing his assertion, however confused it may sound.

What I haven't had is an official Kenyan position on this (and by this I mean authoritative pronouncement by our President)

As you put it,woe unto any fisherman who is caught in Ugandan waters once the demarcation of borders is completed.

Many here are giving M7 too much undue credit.

He went about the whole process with so much stupidity, huffing and puffing, raising his little flags and now he admits he was wrong!!

Fishermen have always travelled to UG and TZ to catch fish and have always been arrested, this will not stop tomorrow. M7 and his boys will go back to their shores and the Jaluos will continue catching 'free fish' (as jaina puts it)

So what happened to EAC with all this border demarcations and hostilities.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

Hey,hey, hey,a whole community cant be mad.
Hapo the Ug supremo was out of order.

Sasa, those who have been drumming for war over Migigo, have been handed a life line to pursue their desire.
For starters jump head long into the verbal warfare that Museveni has ignited.
While at it enjoy yourselves.
